ONE HUNDRED AND               ONE NIGHTS

(LES CENT ET UNE NUITS), 1995, Cine Tamaris, 101 min.

The latest film from legendary French New Wave pioneer Agnes Varda (CLEO FROM 5 TO 7, VAGABOND), 101 NIGHTS is a Magical History Tour through this century’s greatest art-form. The delightful Michel Piccoli stars as 100-year old Monsieur Cinema, holed up in his chateau with his movie memories and a charming young film student (Julie Gayet) who has her eye on his vast fortune. To brighten his days, a non-stop parade of friends drop by to chat with the old man, including Catherine Deneuve, Marcello Mastroianni, Robert De Niro, Jeanne Moreau, Gerard Depardieu, Alain Delon, Jean-Paul Belmondo, Hanna Schygulla, Anouk Aimée, a hand-shake with Harrison Ford, and more!!

Discussion following Friday 4/23 Screening with director Agnes Varda.
