Blu-ray Launch! MEMENTO,
2001, Newmarket Films, 113 min. Dir. Christopher Nolan. Guy Pearce is Leonard Shelby, a
man with no short-term memory and in search of his wifes killer. He uses Polaroids,
tattoos - even hand-scrawled notes - to remember not only clues about the murder but also
aspects of his identity. Unfolding in mind-boggling fragmentary fashion, this tense noir
has a sting in its scorpion tail. With Carrie-Anne Moss and Joe Pantoliano. Discussion following with Christopher Nolan. [35mm] Trailer | Buy Tickets

THE FIGHTER, 2010, Paramount Pictures, 115 min. Dir.
David O. Russell. Boxer "Irish" Mickey Ward (Mark Wahlberg) is on the verge of
complete career collapse, with a losing streak getting him no closer to the lightweight
title, his "Mom-ager" (Melissa Leo) killing him with love and his crack-addict
brother (Christian Bale) for a trainer. When Mickey falls for the feisty, hard-nosed
Charlene (Amy Adams), who shrewdly sees through his family, he begins to realize that
achieving the dream of a lifetime may require breaking from the people who have shaped his
life. Discussion following with director David O. Russell and
other special guests (TBC). [35mm] Trailer and Official Website | Buy Tickets
