What: The New York opening of Guy Maddins latest film BRAND UPON THE BRAIN! (Canada/USA, 95 min.) presented with live orchestra (Ensemble Sospeso), Foley sound effects, Castrato and live narration by various guest narrators (see list above). BRAND UPON THE BRAIN! opens May 9th 15th as a film accompanied by a live stage show in New York City, followed by presentations in Chicago (May 18 20) and Los Angeles (June 8 10). The film will continue to open across the country as a regular film release with pre-recorded soundtrack.
