Young hotheaded orphan Annie (Aileen Quinn) is rescued from a cruel orphanage by a wealthy industrialist, Oliver Warbucks (the wonderful Albert Finney), but the wicked orphanage supervisor (Carol Burnett) tries to profit from the situation.
