ABOUT THE FILM: The scandal of the 1973 Cannes Film Festival, filmmaker Alejandro Jodorowsky’s flood of sacrilegious imagery and existential symbolism in THE HOLY MOUNTAIN is a spiritual quest for enlightenment pitting illusion against truth.
