In the Fall of 1980, college freshman Jake (Blake Jenner) joins the baseball team and moves into a house with his fellow players. Ball practices and raging parties ensue, while Jake woos performing arts major Beverly (Zoey Deutch). Featuring a nostalgic soundtrack of hits by Blondie, Van Halen, and more, Richard Linklater’s follow-up to 2014’s BOYHOOD is a fun-filled romp through the filmmaker’s own memories as an undergrad at Sam Houston State University.
