23 short films directed by 21 women make 1 non-profit feature to support survivors of abuse. Written by Lorien Haynes, the multi award-winning feature EVERYTHING I EVER WANTED TO TELL MY DAUGHTER ABOUT MEN is the story of one woman who tells her daughter about every man she’s ever been with – in the hope her daughter won’t make the same mistakes. A dark comedy, wrestling with relationship universals from infidelity to teen pregnancy and addiction, EVERYTHING… asks what happens when you cannot break your patterns and keep choosing the same relationship over and over again. With Nathan Fillion and Jason Isaacs, EVERYTHING… was made to support survivors of abuse, female filmmakers and to achieve parity in production. The film screens in collaboration with REFUGE, the UK’s largest domestic abuse support network.
