ABOUT THE FILM: In German with English subtitles. The Schober’s are a typical middle-class family, complete with overall-wearing son, yappy dog, and charming vacation home on the shores of a picturesque Austrian lake. Things take a turn for the worse, however, when two strange young men arrive at their doorstep asking to borrow eggs. Little do they know, the family has already begun playing a brutal game of physical and mental torture from which they may never return.
