ABOUT THE FILM
In Billy Wilder’s hysterically funny black comedy, Walter Matthau stars as shyster lawyer Willie Gingrich, who convinces his brother-in-law, TV cameraman Henry Hinkle (Jack Lemmon), to feign a crippling injury after a close call with a 220-pound halfback.
