When Frankie, a bank teller, is fired after being falsely accused of knowing the suspect in a bank robbery, she gets a job at a janitorial service with her friends: Tisean, a single mother who can barely support her son and is devastated when he is taken away unfairly by child services; Stony, who worked her whole life to give her younger brother a good life, but is grieving his loss after his unjust murder by the police; and Cleo, a butch lesbian who is hyper-aware of the double standard. The four friends decide that they must take their lives – and the law – into their own hands and set out to rob banks. If the crackhead around the corner can do it, for sure these four brilliant, determined friends can as well.
F.
