ABOUT THE FILM: Trudy Cockenlocker, the daughter of the town’s Chief of Police, is truly loved by Norval Jones. However, Trudy is strongly attracted to men in uniform, but Norval is turned down by the Army because he’s too nervous! So she marries a soldiers she meets at a dance. They both give fictitious names and after the ceremony the groom disappears. Nobody sees the missing G.I., but his presence is felt throughout the film as Trudy traces most of her present problems to that terrible mistake – namely her pregnant condition! Norval tries to get Trudy off the hook but only manages to get himself in deeper. Only a miracle could save the scene – and it comes just in time. FORMAT: DCP DISTRIBUTOR: Paramount COUNTRY: USA
