ABOUT THE EVENT

The Tribute to the Crafts honors those who are at the very heart of filmmaking and have exhibited extraordinary work behind the camera, over the past year. This special evening will celebrate excellence across 13 categories, recognizing every major craft that shapes the best in film. Honorees were selected by a prestigious jury of journalists, film historians and cinephiles representing the most respected outlets across the country. The audience will include members of AMPAS, BAFTA, Critics Choice, and all major guilds—ACE, CSA, ASC, SCL, MPSE, CAS, CDG, Property Masters Guild—as well as industry executives and press.

CAREER ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

Academy Award–nominated production designer Jack Fisk (MARTY SUPREME) will also receive the Career Achievement Award for his extraordinary body of work. Through his long-standing collaborations with visionary directors such as Terrence Malick, David Lynch, Paul Thomas Anderson, Alejandro González Iñárritu, Martin Scorsese, and Josh Safdie, he has contributed to some of contemporary cinema’s most iconic films, including THERE WILL BE BLOOD, THE REVENANT, THE TREE OF LIFE, MULHOLLAND DRIVE, KILLERS OF THE FLOWER MOON, and, most recently, A24’S MARTY SUPREME.

UNSUNG HERO AWARD

The event will additionally recognize the late Andrew J. Kuehn Jr. with this year’s Unsung Hero Award. Andrew J. Kuehn Jr. was a trailblazing film marketing visionary, often called the “Godfather of Movie Trailers,” who reshaped the movie trailer industry, turning it into a powerful creative and commercial force over the course of his 43-year career.
