Home / Allan Moyle’s TIMES SQUARE Limited Engagement
Teenage runaways Nicky (Robin Johnson) and Pamela (Trini Alvarado) create a new life for themselves in the New York City underground scene after meeting at (and escaping) a psychiatric hospital. Under the tutelage of radio DJ Johnny LaGuardia (Tim Curry), the pair become a punk duo known as “The Sleez Sisters” and perform a series of illegal concerts to unite their young fanbase against the forces of bureaucracy and gentrification led by Pamela’s city commissioner father. With a soundtrack featuring 80s icons Suzi Quatro, Gary Numan, Talking Heads, and more, TIMES SQUARE is an alternative anthem for the ages and the first major feature by Allan Moyle (PUMP UP THE VOLUME, EMPIRE RECORDS).
