Since it began screening films to the public in 1985, the American Cinematheque has provided diverse film programming and immersive in-person discussions and events with thousands of filmmakers and luminaries, presenting new and repertory cinema to Los Angeles.

After two years, the Consulate General and Promotion Center of the Republic of Argentina and the American Cinematheque are thrilled to announce the new edition of the Argentina Film Showcase on December 20th at The Aero Theatre Santa Monica.
The showcase will include ARGENTINA, 1985 a historical drama film directed by Santiago Mitre with a Q&A with Producers Axel Kustchevazky and Victoria Alonso and former Assistant Prosecutor Luis Moreno Ocampo and EL GERENTE, a comedy directed by Ariel Winograd.
