Featuring a dynamic lineup of repertory classics, cutting-edge documentaries, television programs, experimental works, essay films, and fiction, ‘This Is Not a Fiction’ goes beyond the limits of genre, with the lineup reflecting the boundless possibilities of non-fiction storytelling. The festival is a celebration of non-fiction as a form of filmmaking and its profound impact on our lives, from its influence in art and entertainment to its power in education, political advocacy and social discourse.

Festival | This year’s festival will feature an 8-film in-person retrospective with the trailblazing Gianfranco Rosi and in-person tributes to filmmakers Caveh Zahedi and Ross McElwee.

The full 45 film lineup, featuring even more special guests, premieres and screenings, will be announced next week.
