When his gangster bosses ask him to torch a tenant house where his mother and sister live, drug dealer Johnny (played by Vincent Spano) decides to abandon his life of crime. But his mob bosses won’t let him break free so easy in this gritty thriller. Featuring beautiful cinematography and score by Chic’s Nile Rodgers, ALPHABET CITY is a slice of 80s NY grime.
