The 16th annual German Currents festival features some of the best recent films from Germany, most of which make their Los Angeles premieres here. Join us for our screenings at the Los Feliz 3 and the Goethe-Institut and explore this year’s eclectic program which features a sci-fi thriller, indie drama, political satire, family fare, and more. We look forward to seeing you!
The German Currents Film Festival 2022 is a co-production of the Goethe-Institut Los Angeles and the American Cinematheque, and is presented in kind cooperation with the German Consulate General, and with the support of The Friends of Goethe, TheHollywood Foreign Press Association, The German Film Office, and media partners Deutsche Welle.
