ABOUT THE FILM: Volatile and difficult to work with, actor Michael Dorsey (Dustin Hoffman) desperately reinvents himself as the actress, Dorothy Michaels, to get the part on a trashy soap. What was supposed to be a short arc turns into a more permanent role, causing havoc on Michael’s personal life as he falls in love with his castmate (Jessica Lange).
