The American Cinematheque is proud to welcome filmmaker Ali Abbasi in person at the Los Feliz 3 for his newest film, HOLY SPIDER, an exploration of the insidious nature of violence and amorality in society and Denmark’s Best International Feature Film submission to the 95th Academy Awards. Ali Abbasi came onto the scene in 2016 with his debut feature, SHELLEY, and has since garnered widespread acclaim for the 2018 Cannes Film Festival Un Certain Regard prize-winner BORDER.
