Series | AIR. ARGO, GONE BABY GONE, THE TOWN

Aero Theatre and Los Feliz 3

ABOUT THE SERIES:

A recipient of two Academy Awards, two BAFTA Awards, a Directors Guild of America Award, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards, Ben Affleck is more than just a beloved household name and an honorary Boston mascot.

Affleck made his feature film directorial debut on the 2007 drama GONE BABY GONE, setting the stage for a decade of cinematic triumphs that ultimately led to his Best Picture winner, ARGO. He also went on to write, direct and star in the crime thriller THE TOWN which was hailed as one of the greatest crime films of the decade. More recently, Affleck teamed with his long-time partner Matt Damon to launch Artists Equity, a production venture that vows to expand profit participation and provide a “talent-friendly” environment to creatives. Marking the first project under their new banner, AIR reveals the inspiring story behind the game-changing partnership between then-rookie Michael Jordan and Nike’s struggling basketball division, which completely disrupted the industry with the creation of the revolutionary Air Jordan brand. The film stars Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Jason Bateman, Chris Messina, Matthew Maher, Marlon Wayans, Jay Mohr, Julius Tennon, Chris Tucker, Viola Davis.

Outside of his successful film career, Affleck is also a passionate advocate and philanthropist.
