The AC pays tribute to the films that inspired the making of KING RICHARD, directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green. The film is nominated for six Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Actor for Will Smith, Best Supporting Actress for Aunjanue Ellis and Best Film Editing for Pamela Martin’s work.
Green joins us as guest programmer, curating a selection of films that inspired him during the making of the new film: ROCKY, CHARIOTS OF FIRE, and MILLION DOLLAR BABY.
The filmmaker and editor will attend a Q&A at the Aero Theatre in between screenings of KING RICHARD & ROCKY.
