Maestro is back! What more would you need to know to rush to the theatre? But for the more information orientated amongst you, here’s DARK GLASSES – Argento’s full-blooded return to the genre he has made his home for most of his career – Diana, a young woman working as an escort, loses her sight in an unfortunate accident and has to re-adjust his life to her new circumstances – however her temporary adoption of a young Chinese boy named Chin helps as he becomes her guide. But sinister forces in the form of a dangerous killer are watching and it’s not long before the duo are locked in a sinister cat-and-mouse game with a man whose methods are as brutal as they are exacting. Gloved hands, sharp weapons and a whole load of style are married with a killer score that will make you want to scream from the rooftops about the return of the master.
