ABOUT THE FILM: In Japanese with English subtitles. The vanishing of an editor of an occult magazine sets in motion an investigation by a freelance writer and a colleague – soon they will be mired in a mystery that engulfs the Kinki region: missing children, hysteria, hauntings and much, much more.Director Koji Shiraishi defined what true fear was with his entry into the found-footage-documentary scene with NOROI and he comes back this year with this new entry that is designed with a single purpose in mind: to terrify the audience beyond belief and then some. Trust me when I say that once KINKI ends, darkness will seem like a much more terrifying place than it did before the screening – see it with a friend and make sure you don’t walk together.
