Home / Now Showing / David Lowery Presents KURONEKO
Another spectacularly creepy Japanese horror film from director Kaneto Shindô (ONIBABA), who once again finds horror in a medieval Japan plagued by war. This time an evil ghost is tearing out the throats of roaming samurai; when a soldier sets off in search of the spirit, he finds himself confronting internal as well as external demons. An eerie twilight tale with a shocking feminist angle, evoked through ghostly special effects and exquisite cinematography.
