Jeanne Moreau’s screenwriter-director debut follows the friendship between four actors on vacation in Provence. As they work through the goings-on in their lives together, Moreau captures an intricate and semi-autobiographical social network in a story heralded as one of the first to emphasize the bonds between women on-screen.
