Home / Now Showing / MAD GOD
Almost 30 years in the making, maestro Phil Tippett’s magnum opus is not only an incredible experience but also a testament to his unique innovations within the animation and VFX fields all throughout his career.
An unnamed assassin is sent into a hellish world that exists inside a well – he’s been given a map and a mission, but unbeknown to him, the journey that awaits him through this surreal, horrifying landscape will be more frightening, fantastical and mind-blowing than anything he could have ever expected.
Taking its cue from the entire scope of the history of cinema and art and referencing almost every point on the spectrum from Bosch to ROBOCOP, MAD GOD is a truly unique glimpse into the mind of one of the most brilliant artists working in our lifetime – a true expression of Tippett’s passions in one intense, brilliant and utterly magnificent piece of storytelling. – Evrim Ersoy
