ABOUT THE FILM Jeff Nicols’ TAKE SHELTER stars Michael Shannon and Jessica Chastain as a married couple in a small Ohio town, raising a six-year-old daughter who is deaf. Curtis (Shannon) begins having nightmares of an encroaching, apocalyptic storm and starts focusing his anxiety and money into the obsessive building of a storm shelter.
