Home / Now Showing / THE ANGEL LEVINE
Between Harlem and Heaven, a young, Black, Jewish angel, Alexander Levine, played by Harry Belafonte, appears to the elderly, impoverished Jewish tailor, Morris Mishkin, played by Zero Mostel. After a long streak of bad luck, including his wife’s (Ida Kamińska) illness, Morris is skeptical of the angel Levine’s mission to perform a miracle and earn his angelic wings in this imperfect world.
