THE DARK GETS IN

ABOUT THE FILM:

When a documentary team set out to investigate the mysterious disappearance of a young girl, events soon take an unexpected turn, leading the filmmakers down an increasingly dark and horrifying path.
Sean Hogan continues his hypnotizing exploration of the uncanny, after scaring us witless with TO FIRE YOU COME AT LAST with this hybrid documentary fiction film that takes genre tropes and turns them upside down to craft something unique and singular. As a filmmaker who understands the nuance of a fright impeccably well, Hogan here delves deep into the modern world, exploring what happens when the malevolent ancient entities encounter digital highways. Full of emotion and unease powerful enough to fuel an entire cinema, THE DARK GETS IN is exceptional storytelling designed to make you sleep with the lights on.
