ABOUT THE EVENT: The PROOF Pitch Deck Show & Tell event offers filmmakers and creators the exciting opportunity to present their pitch decks and project ideas to a live audience of peers, industry professionals and potential collaborators. Presenting both feature and series concepts, participants will have 5 minutes to show off their materials. Afterwards, attendees will receive real-time feedback from seasoned filmmakers, producers and executives, providing invaluable insights to refine their projects and take them to the next stage. This year’s selected pitches: “Terroir” from Taylor Bakken A socially anxious woman attends an engagement party at a vineyard, only to be pulled into a surreal adventure where she must defeat the Queen of her inner world and reclaim the crown. “J.23” from Kimberly Divad Fearing she’s becoming a pig, a devout woman infiltrates an apocalyptic sex cult, convinced God chose her to expose its false prophet. “NUBARIUM” from The Kinoki Bros In a Vodou dystopia, two underachieving best friends-turned-terrorists are destined to save humanity from a fabled demise. “CAMINO” from Annabella Fazio, Sofia Kunz, Emily Sky Hickin On a fading re-wilding ranch, a mosaic artist and a cowboy fall into an all-consuming and law-breaking romance. “Snow Bank” from Willow Fields A teenage girl attempts to rebuild her life months after her brother murdered both of their parents. “Two Meters” from Mia Hagerty Champion freediver Tatiana Mendes must push past a mental block in order to fulfill her dream of opening a swim and freediving school in Cape Verde. “Fucking Losers” from Olivia Accardo Entering public high school for the first time, formerly homeschooled 16-year-old Angelica becomes obsessed with the “high school experience” and getting invited to the biggest event of the year: prom weekend.
