ABOUT THE FILM: If you go down to the woods today… Get the gang together, grab a few beers and go off the beaten track – what better way to spend the summer break? You know it’s not going to end well. But our carefree young twenty-somethings Ziggy (Grace Van Dien), Rich, Katie, Kimberly and Fitz don’t know that. They have the whole summer, and their whole lives, ahead of them. And so they cross a barbed wire fence to go camping and lake swimming off-grid in unexplored forest – what could possibly go wrong… Pretty soon they lose their way, tempers flare and the friends realize how completely alone they are. What’s more: the forest, under the spell of some strange animus, is starting to come alive around them.
