ABOUT THE FILM: In Persian with English subtitles. In war-torn post-revolutionary Tehran in the 1980s, Shideh must contend with having been barred from her medical studies due to her political convictions. Stuck at home looking after her child, everything escalates with the arrival of war and her husband being recruited into the army. Refusing the offers to leave the city, soon Shideh and her daughter find themselves the target of an altogether different kind of terror: a djinn.
