Home / NOIR CITY: HOLLYWOOD
A staple at the American Cinematheque since the turn of the century, Noir City™ is the most extensive theatrical film noir showcase in the United States, presenting a diverse exploration of cinema’s grittier side. Primarily focused on the classic noir era of the 1940s and 50s, this festival was the origin of the Film Noir Foundation’s public outreach for the rescue of neglected and lost films in order to restore America’s noir heritage. The Noir City festival beckons film fans from all over the world to immerse themselves in a passion for rare films and all things noir.
