Since it began screening films to the public in 1985, the American Cinematheque has provided diverse film programming and immersive in-person discussions and events with thousands of filmmakers and luminaries, presenting new and repertory cinema to Los Angeles.

Is there a critic in the house? Get a pulse reading on the state of cinema by local film critics with our monthly Movie C.P.R.! In this series, the film critic of the month arrives on the scene to revive a past film and celebrate its greatness. Our Movie C.P.R. series is a chance to hear firsthand about the films that continue to excite and inspire some of the leading voices in film criticism. Presented one Sunday per month at 4pm at the Los Feliz 3, featuring introductions by the film critics!
