ABOUT THE SERIES:

The American Cinematheque is proud to spotlight the latest series and films from National Geographic, whose partnership has continued the longstanding mission to promote the power of storytelling to further peoples’ understanding of the world.

Our seventh annual series of highlights includes Jimmy Chin and Chai Vasarhelyi’s WILD LIFE, a look at renowned conservationist Kris Tompkins and her incredible mission to create National Parks throughout Chile and Argentina; LIFE BELOW ZERO, a long running documentary series following the extreme lifestyles of Alaskans living off the grid; LIMITLESS, a riveting exploration of our body’s potential; A SMALL LIGHT, an emotional account of one woman’s courageous act in the face of danger.
