ABOUT THE SERIES: Women Wednesday is now quarterly! Expanding beyond our annual March mini-festival in celebration of women’s history month, we’re keeping the new, fresh directorial debuts from women directors coming throughout the year. While women make up half the moviegoing audience, they remain vastly underrepresented in directing. The American Cinematheque is proud to uplift and spotlight new works from new directors in an effort to close the gap. Every few months, join us on Wednesday at the Los Feliz 3 to celebrate new careers and extraordinary new films.
