Festival | This year’s festival will expand beyond Los Angeles to seven cities and 10 venues across the United States and internationally to London. The Los Angeles festival features 55 films from 16 countries, more than 20 special guests and six restoration premieres across our three venues. Full lineup below.
ABOUT THE FESTIVAL:
American Cinematheque is expanding ‘Bleak Week: Cinema of Despair’ beyond Los Angeles to seven additional cities across the U.S. and internationally to London this June.
The festival will continue to have its home in Los Angeles at the Aero Theatre, Egyptian Theatre and Los Feliz 3, but this year it will broaden its reach with screenings at renowned venues including the Hollywood Theatre (Portland, OR), Music Box Theatre (Chicago, IL), The Texas Theatre (Dallas, TX), Trylon Cinema (Minneapolis, MN), Paris Theater (New York, NY), Coolidge Corner Theatre (Boston, MA) and The Prince Charles Cinema (London, England, UK).
